POSTAGE. Postage costs are extra on all orders. 

All UK orders are £2.50 for the first item, plus £1.50 for each additional book (up to a maximum postage of £8.00): items are generally sent by 2nd class parcel post, though I will sometimes send by 1st class or special delivery at no extra cost, if particularly valuable.  All books are sent insured, even those I send by 2nd class post.  There is a maximum postage of only £8.00 (at which point the books are sent by either Special Delivery/Royal Mail, or 48 Hour DHL receipted/insured delivery).  

All USA orders are £3.50 for the first item, plus £2 for each additional book: this is for AIRMAIL delivery (generally between 5-12 days).  All orders are insured.

All European orders are £3.50 for the first item, plus £2 for each additional book: this is for AIRMAIL delivery (generally between 5-10 days).  All orders are insured.

All non-European/USA orders (such as Japan, Australia and the Far East - ask us if you are not sure) are £5.00 for the first item, plus £3.00 for each additional book: this is for AIRMAIL delivery (generally between 7-12 days).  All orders are insured.

Extra postage/reduced postage: we reserve the right to increase the postage on exceptionally heavy/oversize items, or when (for example) the item ordered consists of a number of books grouped together.  But similarly (and far more likely) we will REDUCE postage costs if the item ordered is simply a mass market paperback or a magazine.

Sometimes postage will be cheaper: for example if you are ordering a paperback or a magazine from me then £2.50 (within the UK) is obviously going to be excessive and I will usually actually quote (and charge) less.   If you have already paid by Paypal I will refund part postage costs if necessary.
