The author's last collection of stories (while still alive), first published by Victor Gollancz in 1980. The Tartarus Press 2012 1st printing collected those six long supernatural stories, plus a new seven page introduction by Reggie Oliver. However this Tartarus Press 2nd printing of 2015 also now adds a further story ''The Stranger'', the titles story from the 2015 Tartarus Press Aickman collection The Strangers And Other Writings, which went o/p very quickly (more or less by the time of publication) and will NOT be reprinted.
